Use role-specific home pages, task-group navigation, the global Create menu, and company-scoped search without exposing restricted records.

Start-to-finish instructions
Start from your role home
ServiceTooly sends platform administrators, customers, technicians, directory users, and business users to the appropriate home surface.
Choose a task group
Open Do Work, Keep Customers, Schedule Work, Win Work, Get Paid, or Improve Operations. Only permitted tools appear.
Create from the current context
Open Create and choose a permitted workflow. Supported forms keep the page where you started as return context.
Find a tool or record
Use Find a tool or record or press Control/Command+K. Submit at least two characters for server-side results.
Use the keyboard
Use Tab, Arrow Up, Arrow Down, Home, End, and Escape in the Create menu. Visible focus remains on the active control.
What success looks like
- The home page and menu match the signed-in role.
- Search returns only permitted actions and records from the signed-in company.
Common problems
- A missing result may be restricted by the assigned role; do not broaden permissions just to expose it.
- Technician and customer roles intentionally do not receive broad company-record search results.
